Hi, I’m Raquelle Degelman.

I am a JCI Fashion Business + Creative Arts graduate passionate about all things fashion, beauty, travel, and creating aesthetics.

​

I was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan but spent my High School years in BC at an Independent Boarding School known as Shawnigan Lake School.

 

Throughout my time spent at Shawnigan, I quickly fell in love with BC and formed a solid group of friends and connections. 

​

Post high school graduation, I returned home to Saskatchewan. Being back home was nice; however, I felt a sense of dissociation. I wasn't sure what was next for me and how I could fulfill a life I was passionate about.

​

Being someone who is on the creative side and passionate about fashion, opportunities for me were limited in Saskatchewan. However, after a gap year of working in retail in Saskatoon, I knew I wanted more. So, with some research, I discovered JCI Insitute in Vancouver, BC, which fit my wants for education and the chance to make my passion my paycheque.

I am now happy to call British Columbia home, and I am so excited to see where this creative journey takes me!
